Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many people believe that all levels of education, from high schools to universities, is too much time is spent on teaching facts and not enough on teaching practical skills. However this is a topic that has become increasingly common in today,s society. I Completely agree with this.
One of the main reason is that education system is working on the same facts theory system which is why most of the topper in class depend on the job base system like doctors , police, managers. This is because they never get that practical lessons in class which can help with to build some great foundations, for example Mark zukerburg founder of the Facebook he build this amazing foundation because he thinks out of box.
On the other hand some people disagree with this statement they believe that facts is important rather then practical skills.
The reason for that is facts are always tested in many times and many ways and this is also tested by experts which support more to there ideas to follow in easy way because that would save more time of students and teachers while teaching or learning because that is already proofed. They believe that practical skills can be hard for all students to do because every one have different way to learn and do the things
For Instance
In conclusion, this essay has discussed both points of views
overall I believe that advantage is outweigh then disadvantage because practical skills help the students to become more.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention the importance of practical skills, the arguments are often underdeveloped or lack logical flow. For example, the reference to Mark Zuckerberg is a good attempt at an example, but it is not fully explained in relation to the educational system. The conclusion is incomplete and fails to summarize the main points effectively, leaving the argument unfinished. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that your examples directly support your main argument with sufficient explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is frequently disrupted by unclear transitions and sentence structure issues. While you use some cohesive devices like 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion', the connections between sentences are often weak or mechanical. The paragraphing is present, but the final paragraph is fragmented and lacks a proper concluding thought. To improve, focus on using a wider range of linking words to connect your ideas more smoothly and ensure that each paragraph follows a logical sequence from the introduction to the conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'facts' and 'practical skills' repeatedly. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'job base system' and 'advantage is outweigh then disadvantage'. Some spelling errors, such as 'zukerburg' and 'today,s', also detract from the overall quality. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary and ensure you are using words in their correct context and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('many people... is too much time'), incorrect verb forms ('he build'), and punctuation errors. The sentence structure is often repetitive, and the lack of control over complex sentences makes the writing feel disjointed. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage, before attempting more complex structures.
