Student answer (Band 6.5)
It has been observed that some individuals state that in every stage of education from academic to institutional education, a lot of time spent on studying theoretical facts and not enough on learning practical skills. If questioned I completely agree with this statement. My inclination is justified in the ensuing paragraphs with valid reasons and appropriate eamples.
The first argument put forward for my stance is that, The curriculum design is contain majority of theorial chapters rather then practical and taskbase education. Around fifteen to seventeen years of time students give to study facts even after that they become victim of unemploymenet ,due to lake of experience and practical knowledge. It is essential to acquire practical experience with foundational subjects. For instance, computer operating is practical base subject just learning
thiory of software is not enough to gain jobs in IT sectors. So government should redesign curriculum and add practical knowledge in it.
Furthermore, Nowadays in this modern era professional skills and experience are as essential as subjective knowledge. The skills like communication skill, critical thinking skill, problem solving skill, leadership skill are more required. Higher grade degrees are is not enough for acquire high standard job roles. For example reputative companies are prioritize candidates who have skills rather than higher degrees. As result student needs to acquire practical experience.
To conclude, though subjective knowledge is foundation of students carrier, the better practical knowledge like proffesional skills and experiences are as important. Theoretical knowledge with proffesional skills are more appropriate for carrier growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of unemployment and the necessity of soft skills like critical thinking. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the example regarding IT sectors is brief and could be expanded to better illustrate the disconnect between theory and practice. While the position is consistent, the supporting arguments lack depth, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main point, but overall, the response would benefit from more detailed explanations and concrete examples to fully explore the implications of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The first argument', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear. For example, the phrase 'My inclination is justified in the ensuing paragraphs' is a bit formal and stiff. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal cohesion within the second body paragraph could be improved to ensure a smoother flow between the list of skills and the concluding example.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their opinion clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'curriculum design' and 'foundational subjects'. However, there are several spelling errors ('theorial', 'taskbase', 'thiory', 'proffesional', 'carrier') and minor word choice inaccuracies ('reputative' instead of 'reputable', 'subjective' instead of 'theoretical'). These errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede communication. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on accurate spelling and more precise collocations to convey their ideas with greater sophistication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'The curriculum design is contain majority of theorial chapters' and 'Higher grade degrees are is not enough'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar structures prevent the essay from achieving a higher score. The student should focus on proofreading to correct basic errors and practice more complex sentence constructions to demonstrate greater control over grammatical range.
