Student answer (Band 6.0)
According to some members of the society, intead of teaching the real life practical skills, the education system are taking more time to teach history. I absolutely not convienced with this statement, at it can help the students to choose their career and help them to strong their base the future occupation.
One of the key point why I am not agree with the statement of primary schools and unversities are not teaching the practical skills is, our education system is helping students to choose their career in their early life. For example, In the schools, students have so many of the exercise classes, such as dance activity, karate, basket ball, football etc. So, if any students have interest in the sports can learn the basic techniques of the games, which can help them to learn the game even faster. Apart from that, Primary schools organises many of the compititions such as, debate compitition. By participating in this activity, students who want persue the lawer as their career option, also get the enormous benfits from it. So, by learning the subjects which are being teached by the teachers, can give the ideas to the students that in which future option they have the more interest.
Another reason why I disagree that, our primary to university education only teach us the history not the practical skills, is having the workshpos related to the different occupations. For example, A civil engineering universities have many of the laboratories, such as construction material labs, geotechnical labs etc. By visiting those, civil engineering students can better understand the charateristic of the soil, which can help them in thier real job life, as they can eaily depits the problems related to the footings of the structure. So, university education always help students to make their base related to their respective occupations stronger, because if students know the foundation of their job, they can better contributed in it.
In conclusion, I can not agree with few individuals who say, primary and university educations are more about to learning the facts, as all levels of educations help students to opt their career path and make their future's base healtier by learning the practical skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the statement. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and occasionally lacks clarity. While you provide examples like sports and engineering labs, the connection between these examples and the broader argument about 'learning facts vs. practical skills' is sometimes tenuous. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-explained argument that directly supports your thesis. The conclusion is a bit brief and simply restates the introduction rather than synthesizing the main points discussed in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'For example,' 'Apart from that,' and 'In conclusion,' which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Another reason why I disagree that... is having the workshpos.' Additionally, there are instances where referencing is unclear or repetitive. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences flow more naturally into one another would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. However, there are several spelling errors ('intead', 'convienced', 'unversities', 'compitition', 'persue', 'teached', 'workshpos', 'charateristic', 'depits') and some awkward word choices ('strong their base', 'lawer as their career option'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and spelling. Expanding your range of vocabulary to include more academic collocations would help elevate your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is a positive step. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('the education system are', 'Primary schools organises') and incorrect verb forms ('I am not agree', 'can better contributed'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning remains clear despite these errors, the frequency of mistakes in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and tense consistency will be very beneficial.
