Student answer (Band 6.5)
Education plays an essential role in the development of nation. Any stage of education starting from primary to college have equal importance as it frames future of the nation. The few individuals believe that education is more focused on academic than practical aspects. I will discuss the both aspects of education along with my opinion in forthcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, learning part of education is more focused because of following reasons. Firstly, it creates the base of student career just like roots of tree. Students need to learn from academic to apply practically. For example, professionals like doctors need to learn the facts of illness and surgery, they should not directly operate the patient without learning part. Secondly, practical part is not possible without the academic learning and it becomes indispensable part of practical skills.
However, few individuals contradict that practical knowledge is as important as learning. First and foremost, future career opportunities are based on your practical skills. In recent survey in news show that employers neither focus on academic grades nor degree from accredited universities but looking for the practical experience or placement during learning. Due to above reasons, many institutions have started mandatory placements to complete the course. For an instance, doctors or Certified Public Accountants require the mandatory placement of 1 year to earn degree. Moreover, in most of high paying jobs there is practical experience requirement in job posting as they will not only save the time but also training cost.
To conclude, from my point of view practical knowledge is as significant as academic learning. Furthermore, it becomes need for future career opportunities in an era of technology and competition.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You acknowledge both sides of the argument before concluding that practical knowledge is as significant as academic learning. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the example regarding medical professionals is relevant, the explanation of why academic learning is the 'base' could be more deeply explored. Additionally, the transition between the two body paragraphs is slightly abrupt. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully extended with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples, rather than relying on brief statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'However', and 'To conclude' to guide the reader. However, some cohesive links are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Due to above reasons' or 'In recent survey in news show'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more fluidly. Paragraphing is used appropriately, which helps the overall structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'indispensable', 'accredited', and 'competition'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'learning part of education' instead of 'theoretical education' and 'In recent survey in news show' which is grammatically and lexically awkward. Some phrasing is repetitive, and the use of 'learning part' to describe academic study is not natural. Expanding your range of topic-specific collocations would significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'Any stage of education... have equal importance' (subject-verb agreement), 'The few individuals believe' (incorrect article usage), and 'For an instance' (incorrect collocation). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are missing articles throughout the text (e.g., 'in recent survey', 'to earn degree'). To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
