Student answer (Band 6.0)
In entire schooling time, few individual believe to give their whole time in a theoretical learning rather than hands-on training. I am not totally agree with this opinion and I would like to give my opinion and reasons for this.
Firstly, people may believe spent more time on theoretical learning is a beneficial for the student to gain a require knowledge about the particular subject ,which is totally correct. In a past time universities were focusing on theory base education system despite practical based learning is popular nowadays. Although few of subject require a experience based knowledge to learn that subject. For example, science is a subject about full of interesting facts and it can only possible to get deep idea about the subject is practical training.
Moreover, practical skills can give a clear idea to student related their interest regarding particular subject. Sometime, children like experimental thing about the subject but getting bored about learning by theory so at that time practical skill can boost their interest in learning. For instant, I understand chemistry very well by performing practical tasks than only by theory facts. I agree theoretical learning is necessary but it could became a short term memorisable thing but if students get their education by the hands-on training it can last longer.
In conclusion, traditional schooling system were focusing on spent huge time on learning by fact or memorising them however, it can not solely beneficial to learner. Learning practical skills is equally important to recieve detail information regarding particular subject. As my opinion i am not agree with this theoretical base learning activities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the balance between theoretical and practical education. You clearly state your position, although the stance is slightly inconsistent; you initially say you 'are not totally agree' (disagree), but later state 'I agree theoretical learning is necessary'. To improve, ensure your position remains consistent throughout. While you provide relevant examples, such as chemistry, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on extending your arguments with more depth rather than restating the same point in different ways. The conclusion is clear, but ensure your main arguments are fully synthesized.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion' to signal transitions. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some linking words are used incorrectly, such as 'For instant' (should be 'For instance'). Additionally, some referencing is unclear, such as 'at that time' in the second paragraph. To improve, try to use a wider variety of cohesive devices and ensure that pronouns and references clearly point back to the intended nouns to improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'theoretical learning', 'hands-on training', and 'experimental'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'in entire schooling time' (should be 'throughout the schooling period') and 'memorisable thing' (should be 'memorized'). Some phrases are also awkward, such as 'getting bored about learning'. To achieve a higher score, focus on learning common collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary. Avoid repeating the same words, such as 'subject', and try to use synonyms to demonstrate a broader range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('few individual believe'), article usage ('in a past time'), and incorrect verb forms ('could became'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing spaces after commas. While you attempt complex sentences, they are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement and article usage before attempting more complex structures.
