Student answer (Band 5.0)

Education has been playing important role in everyone's life because it can provide brief knowledge about economical situations, financial situations and so on. Here, One counter claims that most of the time are being spent on learning the reality from 1st division to graduations. however, on the others side say that is not true because their time are donated to learn practical skills. After reviewing both statements, I think I am totally agree with it which I am going to put my counter point in above.

Some adequate reasons are most notable in this statement. An children growths are started from when he born and after a time where they are admitted into primary school. In additional, nowadays most of the schools mostly focus on the historical facts what was happened in certain time and all the things and also theorical lectures are being held because of that children feel boring classes which also affect their brains too.

However, practical skills are very essential in human being for developing their mind-set, confidence and many more. But teacher will teach you only theorical knowledge which will not be longer remembered. For example, If a student want to get knowledge about computer skills that is why they join on primary school for getting knowledge and if the professor only teach him theorical then he will definitely forget that thing but instead if he get knowledge practically like teach him how to open computer, how to open program, this is the way he can remember it easily.

In conclusion, Theorical facts are taking place for practical skills which can not be important in person day to day life cycle. that is why my suggestion is student should be more focus on practical subject not actual theorical facts.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt, but the position is unclear. The introduction states, 'I think I am totally agree with it,' but the subsequent paragraphs struggle to maintain a consistent argument. The ideas are under-developed; for instance, the example regarding computer skills is repetitive and lacks depth. The essay tends to over-generalize about the nature of education, and the conclusion contradicts the initial stance by suggesting that theoretical facts are not important at all, rather than balancing the two. To improve, you should ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported point that directly relates to your central thesis.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'However' and 'In conclusion,' they are often applied mechanically or incorrectly. For example, the transition 'In additional' is non-standard, and the referencing within sentences is often confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of ideas. The relationship between sentences is often weak, and the overall structure feels disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'brief knowledge about economical situations' (likely meaning 'general understanding of economic issues') and 'theorical lectures' (theoretical). The phrase 'human being for developing their mind-set' is unnatural. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use less common items accurately. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words in their correct context, paying closer attention to word forms and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('most of the time are being spent'), article usage ('an children'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'For example, If a student want to get knowledge about computer skills that is why they join on primary school.' The range of structures is limited, and attempts at complex sentences often result in errors. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
