Student answer (Band 6.5)
It has always been a matter of debate that in our education system excessive amount of time is being spend on teaching theoretical concepts rather than equipping individuals with real-life particle skills. I completely agree with this statement.
To commence with, from primary institutes to universities, all the emphasize is on learning and understanding theories which is written in the books rather than performing practical experiments. This is because ability of individuals i also measured with exams which are completely based on remembering theories. Moreover, in our traditional schooling system, essential subjects such as physics, chemistry, and physical education are taught in classrooms rather than laboratories or play grounds. Consequently, students lack important skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking because they never perform or experience such issues in real-life.
On the other hand, Introducing students with particle education can boost their learning time, capabilities, and life-skills. Because, it is fact that if we experience something in real-life, we may able to learn it conveniently, efficiently and even aware about troubleshooting. Due to this, students may develop interest in a particular field at their early stage of life. For instance, China already applies the concept of practicing learning in their education system. Due to this, they are able to get more scientist in their country which often leads to more development and discoveries in science and medical field.
To sum up, traditional education force the students to focus on learning facts which is completely baseless in today's
competitive world. This is why, I believe the focus should be on practice learning which develop real-life skills in individuals which consequently leads to the development of nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You have provided relevant reasons and a supporting example regarding China's education system. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited; for instance, the argument about 'troubleshooting' and 'life-skills' could be expanded with more specific detail to reach a higher band. The ideas are relevant, but the explanation remains a bit general. To improve, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with a clear link back to the main argument, rather than just stating the benefits of practical education.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'Consequently' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally imprecise, such as the use of 'Because' at the start of a sentence, which is grammatically informal. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the flow between sentences could be smoother to achieve a more natural, sophisticated structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. There are some noticeable errors in word choice, such as 'particle skills' (likely meant 'practical') and 'all the emphasize is' (should be 'emphasis'). Additionally, phrases like 'baseless in today's competitive world' are understandable but could be more precise. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary, the repetition of certain words and the minor inaccuracies in collocation suggest a need for more precise word choice to move into the higher band range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader, such as 'time is being spend' (should be 'spent'), 'theories which is written' (should be 'are written'), and 'we may able to learn' (should be 'we may be able to learn'). While these errors do not impede overall communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of modal verbs and passive voice constructions.
