Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this technocratic era, majority of individuals believe that students spend large proportion of time on theoretical reading instead of practical classes in all educational sectors. i partially agree with the provided statement because nowadays the criteria of learning or teaching has changed a lot with the advancement of technology and will articulate the reasons with suitable examples in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Commencing with the causes why some institutes still focus more on learning facts rather than practical strategies. The first and foremost one, their schools promote their children to take basic knowledge about every subject first before starting practical work .In simple words, they reckon that learning is a basic fundamental which provided everything in details. For instance, in schools , if any student wants to perform osmosis process in lab then, learning facts or parts of the system is essential for better understanding. otherwise, they cannot able to do it effectively or may be failed to succeed without knowing biological terms.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the example of the osmosis process is relevant, the explanation regarding '5 D digital classes' and the specific claim of a '30% improvement' in results lacks clarity and feels somewhat disconnected from the main argument. The essay covers all parts of the task, but the reasoning in the second body paragraph could be more logically extended to fully support the stance. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the points made, though it does restate the position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Commencing with', 'On the other hand', and 'In inference'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'In inference' instead of 'In conclusion'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is sometimes disrupted by grammatical errors. Paragraphing is present, but the transition between the two main body paragraphs could be smoother to better reflect the contrast in the student's argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are some instances of awkward word choices, such as 'learning processor' instead of 'learning process', and 'riable' (likely intended as 'reliable'). While the student attempts to use some academic vocabulary like 'technocratic' and 'articulate', these are not always used in the most natural context. The range is sufficient to convey meaning, but the errors in word choice and spelling occasionally draw attention.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the fluency of the text. Examples include 'they cannot able to do it' (should be 'they are unable to do it'), 'many student find' (should be 'many students find'), and 'they try to introduced' (should be 'they try to introduce'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several misplaced commas and spacing issues. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent the essay from reaching a higher band.
