Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, the considerable amount of individuals have argued that the educational institutes are excessively focused on academic knowledge rather than practical experience. I largely agree with this perspective because students are deprive from abilities, which are essential in everyday life and at workplace.
To begin with, learning centers are gradually emphasizing on theoretical work and most students spend their life to learn formulas, memorizing concepts while doing insufficient hands-on training, which is vital as academic qualification because it is the most effective way to implement rigorous theoretical concepts in real-world to enhance their lifestyle in terms of manage their budge, take more responsibilities and foster to problem-solving skill. These qualities can be cultivated by applying them in daily routine instead of recalling information solely. For instance, educators who have a relevant knowledge of their work are empowered to obtain a decent job because it enables them to manage their resume and finances.
Another supportive reason is improving professional knowledge before going at work place. In other words, when people are acquire essential practical experience through internships, work placements or in the labs while performing experiments, they are become eligible to handle complexity of tasks before doing actual job. Despite having theoretical knowledge, companies are preferred to recruit an employee with prior experience so that they can work in fast-paced environment and manage multifarious activities simultaneously. To exemplify, practical experience is crucial in engineering and medical fields, embracing quick challenges to eradicate the issue promptly.
In conclusion, although academic qualification is foundation of learning profoundly, hands-on experience can not be neglectable because it not only offers to handle practical tasks in day to day life such as finances but also assists to become master in their skills prior getting job.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt clearly and maintains a consistent position throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as the need for practical skills in finance and professional readiness. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat uneven. While the second paragraph introduces valid points, the explanation of how academic knowledge helps one manage a resume is slightly tangential to the core argument of practical skills. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main points. To reach a higher band, ensure that every supporting example directly reinforces the central argument without drifting into loosely related concepts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with,' 'Another supportive reason,' and 'In conclusion,' which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'Another supportive reason is improving professional knowledge.' Additionally, there are instances where the flow is interrupted by grammatical errors, which makes the progression of ideas feel less smooth. The use of referencing is generally clear, but improving the variety of linking words would enhance the overall cohesion of the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, with some attempts at using more sophisticated terms like 'multifarious,' 'rigorous,' and 'eradicate.' However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. For example, 'the considerable amount of individuals' is incorrect; 'a considerable number of individuals' would be more appropriate. Similarly, 'are deprive from abilities' should be 'are deprived of abilities.' While the range is sufficient to convey the message, the inaccuracies in word formation and collocation prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with verb forms and prepositions. Examples include 'are gradually emphasizing on' (should be 'emphasizing'), 'they are become eligible' (should be 'they become eligible'), and 'can not be neglectable' (should be 'cannot be neglected'). These errors are persistent and occur in almost every paragraph. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these slips indicates a lack of control over complex structures, which limits the score for this criterion.
