Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the balance between facts and practical skills. However, the position is not consistently clear throughout the essay. While you argue that practical skills are important, the development of ideas is often hindered by vague phrasing, such as 'a large number of individuals talk about the level of education.' The arguments are present but remain under-developed, lacking specific, well-supported examples. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the points made. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that directly relates to your stance and provide more concrete, logical explanations for your claims.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by unclear sentences and awkward transitions. For example, the transition 'On the one hand' is used, but the subsequent points do not clearly contrast with the following paragraph. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often mechanical or misused, such as 'in addition they should add some more exciting ang thrilling actvities.' Referencing is sometimes confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each sentence builds logically upon the previous one will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'textile material' (likely meaning 'textbook material') and 'holding grip.' Some words are used incorrectly, such as 'numrous kind of population' and 'raoid process.' While the meaning is generally understandable, the lack of precision and the presence of spelling errors (e.g., 'kindergarden,' 'numrous,' 'eucational,' 'amibtious,' 'nagetive') restrict the range. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than relying on basic, sometimes misused, terminology.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('education systems has'), article usage ('a lot of work to the students'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing capital letters at the start of sentences and misuse of commas. While you attempt complex structures, they are often faulty, which reduces the overall accuracy. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage will help improve your score in this area.
