Student answer (Band 5.0)

Well here i would like to discuss about education which is goin in a very high level now days.

As my point of view schools and universities are being hard on children now a days because of books and readers .They carry heavy bags from a very low standard and even children who are in play school they give them lot of homework but not practical

Here i would like to explain about teaching. Moreover if we see now the things are change and the life is goin fast and it is a jet age. People now are used with technology like mobile, i pad and laptop so young generation prefer easy way of studying and they like to practical more than learning.

Some years ago nothing was advanced and children use to do manual work in school and even in university. I would highly recommend that every schools and universities should follow the latest trend so it will be easy for them to study and get more knowledge about practical.

As i feel i agree on what today life is goin on we should not give burden to student to learn more they should highly focus on practical skills because can be easier for them to remember things and can coordinate with other people. Now days student want easy way of learning so that in future it can be more easy, and doing practical work has more power than learning because it gives you idea about more new things which can be a part of life. For example to become a doctor they first do practical learning.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position in favor of practical skills over rote learning. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention the 'jet age' and the need for technology, the arguments remain somewhat superficial and repetitive. The example of a doctor is relevant but lacks sufficient detail to fully support your claim. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' of your arguments, providing more nuanced reasoning rather than repeating that students want an 'easy way' of learning. The response is a bit informal in tone, which affects the overall task fulfillment.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression between ideas is often disjointed. Transitions are frequently missing or used incorrectly, such as 'Well here i would like to discuss' and 'Here i would like to explain about teaching.' These phrases are conversational and do not effectively link your arguments. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') to create a smoother flow between sentences and paragraphs.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, often relying on simple phrasing like 'easy way of learning' and 'doing practical work.' There are several instances of awkward collocations and informal language, such as 'goin in a very high level' and 'low standard.' You attempt to use some topic-related vocabulary like 'technology' and 'manual work,' but the range is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To improve, you should aim to use more academic vocabulary and precise collocations that are appropriate for an essay format.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('things are change'), missing articles ('every schools'), and incorrect verb forms ('children use to do'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect capitalization of 'i'. While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors that can occasionally impede the reader's understanding. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and consistent use of articles to improve your accuracy.
