Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is severely under-length, containing only 92 words against the minimum requirement of 250 words. Because of this extreme shortfall, the task is only addressed in a very minimal and fragmentary way. While the student attempts to take a clear position ('I am completely agree with this'), the ideas are extremely limited, under-developed, and lack sufficient supporting evidence or examples. Sentences such as 'if anyone in this case only learning in not important' fail to effectively communicate a developed argument regarding practical skills versus facts in education. Consequently, this performance aligns closely with Band 4 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text lacks clear overall progression and adequate paragraphing. The response consists of disjointed sentences and isolated single-line paragraphs, such as 'Secound point is education may suit students who enjoy throretical learning.' Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, with clumsy transitional phrases like 'And second thing is' and 'Secound point is'. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow of ideas. These organizational and cohesive shortcomings reflect Band 4 performance.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, relying on words like 'important', 'learning', 'time', and 'skills'. There are multiple vocabulary and word-choice errors, such as 'I am completely agree' instead of 'I completely agree', 'in not important', and spelling mistakes like 'throretical' and 'Prectital'. The range of vocabulary is extremely limited and inadequate for discussing educational concepts, which is characteristic of a Band 4 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of simple and attempted complex sentences that are heavily flawed. There are frequent and intrusive grammatical errors that cause difficulty for the reader and occasionally distort meaning, such as 'take a long time of life', 'only learning in not important', 'get thire goals in inuph timeline', and 'Prectital may suit student who prefer hands on acitivities'. Punctuation and article usage are also problematic throughout the short text, fitting the Band 4 descriptors.
