It is certainly true that practical skill paly a vital role in individual life. However, mojority of schools and universities focus on theory work rather than practical according to several people, and i am not fully agree with this statement.
To commence with, there are number of benefits of learing facts about any subjects such as students can learn any course very deeply and understand the concept with lots of information which are thought by their teachers. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the balance between factual learning and practical skills in education, and it presents a clear position that the student does not fully agree that too much time is spent solely on facts. Key ideas are presented, such as the benefits of deep theoretical understanding alongside the value of practical skills like plumbing, cooking, and problem-solving. However, some arguments lack full development and generalisations are occasionally broad or repetitive. For instance, the discussion on practical skills lists various occupations without thoroughly expanding upon how these integrate into a holistic educational framework. Despite these minor limitations, the main parts of the task are adequately covered, fulfilling the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, body paragraphs on theory and practical skills, and the conclusion. Logical connectors are utilised, such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'However', which help guide the reader through the argumentation. Nevertheless, some cohesive devices feel mechanical or are inaccurately applied, such as 'due to that' and 'first merit is'. Furthermore, referencing and paragraph internal cohesion occasionally falter due to phrasing and punctuation issues, preventing the text from reaching a higher band. Overall, the structural progression is adequate for a Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to include less common items such as 'coordination', 'creativity', and 'leadership quality'. However, there are notable spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'paly' instead of 'play', 'mojority' instead of 'majority', 'learing' instead of 'learning', 'approperiate' instead of 'appropriate', and 'publishered' instead of 'published'. While these errors do not severely impede communication because the context remains clear, they restrict the lexical score. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey basic meanings, fitting the criteria for a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating relative clauses and subordinate structures like 'although learning skills give deep knowledge... but practical skills give opportunity...'. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, articles, and preposition use. Examples include 'theory work rather than practical according to several people', 'i am not fully agree', 'children have no any confusion', and 'pupils can their memory sharpe'. Punctuation and capitalization errors, such as lowercase 'i' and missing spaces after commas, are also noticeable. Because these persistent errors occasionally cause strain for the reader, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
