Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary world, education has became a significant factor to accomplish the goals. Some individuals commit that schooling system consumes more time in educating about theory rather than focusing on implementing them practically. I will not agree with this statement. The learning institutions has changed their norms and methods to educate their students.
The schools and universities has adopted a new style to gain concentration of their students. They developed practical laboratories, where sophomores could practice their learnings and learn to apply it practically. For example, many nursing colleges has dummy patients in their laboratories. The idea is to eliminate fear from their students. They created a hospital kind of setup in their classrooms to overcome the hesitations from their students. The idea provides a significant sense of confidence to their students. The nursing procedures and skills has been demonstrated on those artificial patients.
Furthermore, the primary schools initiated the theme called, ''Theory to Practical''. The highlight about the idea is to apply the theoretical knowledge by conducting practical experiments. For example, the science subject is all about experimentations. Therefore, teachers initially explains the theory and demonstrate the practical to prove that learnings practically true. These methods helps students to learn without any significant efforts.
In conclusion, the learning institutes and organizations has been developed and they have strategies to educate today's generation. The expansion of practical laboratories and methods of teaching has made a progressive impact on learning behaviors of students. Ultimately, today's era of education not only concentrate on course but also apply its knowledge in practical forms.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position ("I will not agree with this statement") and attempts to support it with examples, such as nursing colleges using dummy patients and primary schools initiating "Theory to Practical" themes. However, some ideas are repetitive and under-developed. The discussion tends to generalise institutions' modernization rather than deeply debating whether sufficient time is dedicated to practical skills versus theoretical facts across all educational levels. The position is clear, but the depth of argument aligns more closely with Band 6 descriptors, as some aspects feel somewhat superficial and lack broader elaboration.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The text demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is utilized adequately to separate distinct ideas, such as higher education in the second paragraph and primary education in the third. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty. For instance, transitional phrases like "Furthermore" are used, but referencing and pronoun use can be imprecise, such as "The highlight about the idea is to apply the theoretical knowledge." Logical progression exists, but the links between sentences occasionally feel abrupt, matching the characteristics of Band 6.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as "contemporary world," "modern norms and methods," and "experimentations." However, there are notable word-choice and collocation errors throughout the text, such as "education has became" instead of "has become," "individuals commit that" instead of "claim or argue," and "gain concentration" instead of "capture the attention." While these errors do not impede communication and the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the basic message, the frequency of lexical inaccuracies prevents the score from reaching Band 7.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some capability with relative clauses and conditional structures. Nevertheless, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding subject-verb agreement and verb forms. Examples include "education has became," "The learning institutions has changed," "The schools and universities has adopted," "teachers initially explains," and "These methods helps." While these errors rarely completely impede communication, they persist throughout the essay, indicating that simple sentences are handled better than complex ones, placing the grammar performance firmly at Band 5.
