Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether too much time is spent on learning facts versus practical skills in education. However, the writer's position is somewhat contradictory at the start, stating 'In my opinion, Nowadays education is more important... moreover Practicle skills are also more important then education, I am totaly agree with the essay'. Furthermore, the response suffers significantly from length penalties, as it contains only 178 words, falling well short of the 250-word minimum requirement. Because the ideas are underdeveloped and the word count threshold is missed, this criterion is constrained at band 4.5.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into three paragraphs, including an introduction and two body paragraphs, which shows a basic attempt at paragraphing. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression and logical linking between ideas. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively, such as 'To Start with this' and 'In another point of view'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, for example in sentences like 'without geeting degree you can't prove how yourself how much knowledge do you Have'. Overall, the organization is simplistic and faults in cohesion occasionally impede the flow, aligning with a band 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling and word-choice errors. Examples include 'Practicle' instead of practical, 'compulsary', 'geeting', 'uppar', and 'bechlor'. While the writer attempts to discuss education and skills, the limited range and noticeable errors cause some difficulty for the reader throughout the text. There is little evidence of less common lexical items used accurately, placing this response firmly in the band 4.5 category.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'without geeting degree you can't prove how yourself how much knowledge do you Have, even though whenever you will able to do something in your life people ask first for your degree'. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, and errors in basic punctuation, capitalization, and verb tenses are pervasive throughout the text. These frequent errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader, fitting the descriptors for band 4.0.
