Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 250 words, standing at only 80 words. Consequently, the task is addressed only partially, as the candidate stops writing abruptly in the second paragraph before fully developing any arguments or exploring the causes mentioned in the introduction. While the writer attempts to state a position ('I am agree with this statement'), the severe under-development and incomplete nature of the response severely restrict the score under this criterion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some basic organisation attempted, with an introductory paragraph setting out an intention to discuss causes and examples. However, because the text cuts off midway through the second paragraph, there is no clear overall progression or conclusion. Basic cohesive devices are introduced, such as 'First of all', but referencing and logical sequencing cannot be fully established due to the fragment-like nature of the text. Paragraphing is initiated but left incomplete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for conveying very basic points, featuring repetition of words like 'theory', 'practical', 'education', and 'schools'. There are noticeable lexical and word-form errors, such as 'theory theoretical' and 'effected' (instead of 'affected'), which reflect a restricted range. While the vocabulary is sufficient to show an attempt at discussing an academic topic, the frequent errors and lack of less common lexical items prevent a higher rating.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writer demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures, relying on simple patterns. There are frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles, incorrect prepositions, and faulty phrasing such as 'from early stage to till university' and 'I am agree'. Punctuation and verb form errors are also present, and the incomplete sentences at the end of the text show that control over complex structures is currently lacking, leading to frequent errors that challenge the reader.
