Student answer (Band 5.5)
All institutes of education has focus on learning facts but practical skills are not tought as well. Its not only at primary level but also at universities. some individuals think such type of education we find everywhere. In my prespective, individuals think right and I am agree with this point of view.
To commence with, education nowadays is just a learning facts. I just talk about Pakistan education system. There alot of burden on primary students. They have alot of homework on daily basis which in my perspective has no benefit. Parents are worried about their tough routine. For instance , a big compitition arrange by government authorities. Numorous studends take part but win only those who have high IQ level. They practice their skill instead of learing. Thus education system must take step to enhance study values.
Furthermore, individuals are worried about learning fact because they paid enough money for the education of their children but when they grown up and go to practical life they failed to do many tasks which they just learned in school and universities. For example, In UK universities, they not only focus on learning facts but also give facility to do jobs related to their study which enhance their capability. Therefore alot of people want to study in abroad because of their high education system.
In conclusion, its right that institutes of education has only focus on learning facts. These are not enough to raise youngesters as a skilled citizens. physical skills has important nowadays as technology raised fast. people opinion valid that education center has become only a cradle of learning.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing with the prompt that too much emphasis is placed on facts rather than practical skills. Relevant ideas are presented, such as the burden of homework on primary students and the contrast with the UK university system, though some ideas remain under-developed. For instance, the example regarding the government-arranged competition lacks clear elaboration on how it proves the core argument. The position is maintained throughout, but further extension and support for the main arguments would be required to move to a higher level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion, and the response is divided into logical paragraphs. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, with transitional phrases used repetitively or awkwardly, such as 'To commence with' and 'Furthermore'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in the pronoun usage in sentences like 'These are not enough to raise youngesters as a skilled citizens.' While the progression of ideas is generally understandable, the links between sentences can feel disjointed due to mechanical cohesive devices.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to use less common items such as 'capability', 'cradle of learning', and 'compitition'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form, such as 'tought' instead of taught, 'compitition' instead of competition, 'Numorous' instead of numerous, and 'studends' instead of students. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they reflect a limited and developing lexical range that contains frequent inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some capability to express ideas, such as in 'Parents are worried about their tough routine.' However, there are frequent errors in basic grammar, subject-verb agreement, and articles, including 'All institutes of education has focus' instead of have focus, 'education nowadays is just a learning facts' with an unnecessary article, 'they not only focus' missing auxiliary verbs, and 'people opinion valid'. These errors occur across a range of structures, though meaning can usually still be deciphered.
