Student answer (Band 5.0)

Education is primary key to sucess. Some individuals argue that school and university were spend less time on teaching practical and focusing more time on learning facts. I agree with this above statement I will provide my opinion in the following assay with proper example.

On the one hand, universities and schools should provide extra time on learning practical skills rather than facts because they learn time management and getting confidence by doing practical work. Firstly, In job market practical knowledge is key to sucess getting a better position because they check how efficently finish there work on ground level. Let illustrate, Research says some universities provide lab work after the theory classes because students learn fats and they can enhance their pratical skills. Secondly, Working a myrids of time on practical skills gives confidence to perform better next time. For example, students perform experiments first time in labs after theory classes they are nervous than practical exams.

On the other hand, Schools and organizations should spend more time on learning facts because Theoritical knowledge is crucial to perform practical. Firstly, In job interviews companies ask a myraids of questions about facts than patical knowledge because anyone can perform task in labs by following procedures But never get facts by doing pratical tasks. For examples, professor provide knowledge about facts but they never do practicals for students. Lab assistants perform all demonstrations during pratical classes.

In conclusion, Schools and univrsities spent more time on learning fats and less time on practical skills. I disagree with this given statement because they get confidence by learning practical skills

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. While the writer attempts to present a position on whether education spends too much time on facts and not enough on practical skills, the overall stance becomes contradictory and confusing. In the introduction, the writer states 'I agree with this above statement', but in the conclusion, they abruptly declare 'I disagree with this given statement'. Furthermore, the ideas presented in the body paragraphs are limited and under-developed. For example, the argument about job interviews claiming that 'anyone can perform task in labs... But never get facts by doing pratical tasks' lacks clear logic and sufficient explanation, making it difficult for the reader to follow the intended argument.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation evident with the use of standard paragraph breaks and basic signposting phrases such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, there is no clear overall progression due to logical flaws and the contradictory conclusion mentioned in Task Achievement. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the repeated reliance on 'Firstly' and 'For example'. Additionally, referencing is sometimes unclear, as seen in the phrase 'because they check how efficently finish there work' where the pronoun antecedent is ambiguous, disrupting the flow of the text.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'efficiency', 'myriads', and 'theoretical', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and spelling, such as 'sucess', 'assay', 'efficently', 'Theoritical', and 'univrsities'. These lexical inaccuracies and spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a restricted control over word formation. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to expand their vocabulary range and demonstrate greater precision and accuracy in word spelling and collocation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, consisting mostly of simple sentences alongside attempts at complex sentences that are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and word forms throughout the text. Examples include missing articles ('is primary key', 'in job market'), incorrect verb forms ('university were spend', 'professor provide'), and prepositional errors ('Working a myrids of time'). These frequent errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader, indicating a lack of secure control over basic grammatical patterns and sentence construction.
