Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, all levels of education from primary schools or universities has too much time to spent learning and not enough to learning practical skills has a hot topic all over the world. Some people believe that schools and university spend to much time teaching facts and not enough time devloping practical skills. I agree with this opinion because practical skills are important for students future careers and daily lives.
The main reason is that practical skills help students preparing for future jobs. Learning facts thing is good for student to reduce their skills. All people want leaning a practical skills. for example, science student also do practical in their chemistry lab. When people study doctor they also practice how to be check the patient and learning a practical skills. Pratical education can help student become more confidend and successful in their careers.
In solution, practical skill are alo useful i everyday life. Many student achieve good marks for their examations but strugle with simple task because they have little practical exprence. In school , many teacher help them to study for their books also. They are physically very good in subject but not good with practical skills. In our primary levels of education to study to study in university we learn so many thing to our school. Some time they learn their a practical skills also.
In conclusion, learning a practical skills a good for our future. Its help us to generate a so many skill rather than learning facts.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear position in the introduction—“I agree”—and give relevant reasons about careers and everyday life. The examples of chemistry students working in a lab and doctors practising patient care help connect practical learning to employment. However, the response only partially develops these points: “Learning facts thing is good for student to reduce their skills” is unclear, and the everyday-life paragraph does not provide a specific example to support its claim. The conclusion repeats your view but does not draw the reasons together. The response is also two words below the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, explain each reason more fully, use a clear example for everyday skills, and ensure the response meets the task length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the broad order—from career benefits to everyday usefulness—is sensible. Basic linking phrases such as “The main reason,” “for example” and “In conclusion” help signal the structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the sentence about students achieving good marks shifts to teachers and then to primary and university education without clear links. Some ideas are repeated, particularly the claim that practical skills are useful, while references such as “they” do not always make clear who is meant. Use one main point per paragraph, connect each example directly to that point, and make pronoun references explicit to improve the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “practical skills,” “future careers,” “chemistry lab” and “successful.” However, the range is limited and key phrases are repeated, especially “practical skills” and “learning facts.” Several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the message difficult to understand, such as “devloping,” “Pratical,” “strugle” and “examinations.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “study doctor” and “generate a so many skill.” Aim to learn accurate topic-related phrases and check spelling and word forms. For example, “prepare for a future job” and “gain hands-on experience” would express your ideas more naturally and precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall meaning can usually be identified. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic grammar, sometimes making meaning unclear. For example, “all levels … has” has subject–verb disagreement, while “too much time to spent” and “help students preparing” use incorrect verb forms. Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, as in “a practical skills” and “for example, science student.” Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles and verb patterns. Once these are secure, add more complex sentences using clauses such as “because” and “although.”
