Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a relevant position: “I firmly, agree” that education should focus more on practical skills, while acknowledging that theoretical knowledge matters. However, the response only begins to explain this view and does not develop reasons or provide the requested examples. The second paragraph stops after “the powerfull,” so the argument is incomplete and the task is addressed only minimally. The response also contains 84 words, below the required 250, leaving too little space to answer the question fully. To improve, explain at least two reasons for your position, support each with a specific example, and briefly recognise why factual learning remains valuable before reaching a clear conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic and your opinion, and “On the one hand” signals the start of a body paragraph. This gives the reader some indication of structure. However, the progression is not sustained: the body paragraph ends mid-thought, and there is no developed sequence of supporting points or conclusion. The phrase “I will give more details… further” promises explanation that never follows. Build a clear structure with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and examples, and a conclusion. Use linking expressions to show the relationship between ideas, rather than relying on a transition that is not followed by a complete point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “education,” “theory,” “practical skills,” and “theoretical knowledge,” and the contrast between theory and practice is appropriate to the question. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “perceive” and “appropriate examples.” However, the short response offers little range, and several spelling or word-choice errors make parts less clear, including “chenges,” “prectical,” “thire,” and “powerfull.” The phrase “take long time to teach theory of subjects” is also not natural English. Expand your vocabulary through accurate topic collocations, for example “teach theoretical concepts” and “develop practical competencies,” and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “but” and a sentence beginning “I will give more details.” Some meaning is understandable, but control is inconsistent. For example, “schools and universities take long time” is missing an article, while “Do not give more time to learn…” is a fragment rather than a complete sentence. The sentence beginning “theorical knowledge is important” also joins ideas with unclear punctuation, and “they should more focus” has an incorrect verb pattern. Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles, word order, and punctuation. A wider range of accurate sentence structures would make your position easier to follow.
