Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many individual beleive that the education should be more practical than theory, in all level of education. There are several opinions regarding this issue. Although the implementations in classes are important for better understanding, learning facts also play vital role in success. I partially agree with this statement. Both of the facts are neccessary for learning new things but if people spend equal time in each side.
To begin with learning the fact. It is very crucial that learn the facts before implement anything. Because, if you do not understand the procedures then you cannot doing that properly. For example, the car mechanic always learn how to repair a car and what steps he needs while repairing, this is first step of every work. After doing some courses, he starts repairing the car. As a result, he can do his work efficiently because he learned before doing his work.
Another Important fact is spending too much time in only learning is not enough. For better understanding, all educational institutes should give same time for practical skills. If anyone doing some practical work, he cannot easily forget rather than only learning. So, practical skills in every stage of educations is vital for the success of new generation. It is a best way when teachers explain any subject with experiments. For example, students start taking interest in studies when teachers include some practical side and give chance to every individual to doing that activity with them. It is a good method of teaching.
In the end, I would say both opinions have their own benefits, but spending same amount of time in both ways are more attractive for students. Due to these practices, learners attract towards studies and not get bored easily. All institutes should apply both factors in all level of education because it is significant for every age of students.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you partially agree and argue that factual knowledge and practical learning should receive balanced attention. You address both sides and support them with relevant examples, including the mechanic learning procedures before repairing a car and students engaging more when lessons include experiments. This meets the task, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, you say practical work is harder to forget, but do not explain how this affects learning outcomes or give a specific example. The conclusion repeats the case for equal time without clarifying how the balance might differ between primary school and university. Develop these points with more precise reasoning and examples to make the response more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting the value of theory and practical learning, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Another Important fact,” and “In the end” help readers follow the main stages. However, some connections are mechanical, and a few references are unclear. The opening says “There are several opinions” without identifying them, while “both of the facts” does not clearly refer to the two kinds of learning. The first body paragraph also begins with a fragment-like heading, “To begin with learning the fact.” Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, and connect examples explicitly to that claim. This would make progression smoother and cohesion less dependent on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “practical skills,” “procedures,” “educational institutes,” and “experiments.” There are also attempts at more specific phrasing, such as “do his work efficiently.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less natural. Examples include “implementations in classes,” “learning the fact,” “same amount of time in both ways,” and “attract towards studies.” Spelling errors such as “beleive” and “neccessary” are noticeable. Build a more accurate set of education-related collocations and check spelling; for example, describe “hands-on activities” and say that students “become more engaged in their studies.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional clauses (“if you do not understand the procedures”) and a reason clause introduced by “because.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles remain. For example, “if people spend equal time in each side” is an incomplete thought, and “he cannot doing that properly” uses an incorrect verb form. In “both opinions have their own benefits … are more attractive,” the subject and verb do not agree. There are also sentence fragments, such as “Because, if you do not understand the procedures…” Practise completing clauses and checking verb patterns and agreement, while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
