Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a clear position—“I personally agree”—and give two relevant reasons: book learning is limited to theory, while practical learning provides experience. However, the response addresses the task only minimally because neither reason is explained with a specific example or developed into a complete argument. The second point, that a person “can not think outside of books,” is especially unclear and needs explanation. The response also ends mid-sentence (“Furthermore teacher who is giving knowledge”), so it does not reach a conclusion or fully establish how the issue applies across primary schools, colleges, and universities. The required minimum of 250 words is not met; develop each reason with explanation and an example, then add a conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening gives your opinion, followed by a paragraph beginning “To begin with.” The ideas about book-based theory and practical experience are related to one another, and “Furthermore” signals an attempt to add a point. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the opening combines several ideas in one sentence, and the body paragraph does not clearly separate or explain them. The final phrase is unfinished, leaving the reader without a completed argument or conclusion. Use distinct paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and your conclusion. Connect each point with clear explanation rather than relying mainly on introductory linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to education, including “practical skills,” “theory knowledge,” “experience,” and “teacher.” These choices make the general topic understandable. However, the range is limited, and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation problems make the meaning less clear: “extrnal knowledge,” “leasons,” and “remember thing” are difficult to interpret accurately. “Learning from books” and “knowledge” are also repeated without much variation. Build a more precise set of education-related expressions and check spelling and word forms. For example, you could describe “hands-on learning,” “apply theoretical knowledge,” or “retain information through experience” to express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both simple statements and longer clauses, as in “children learn from books is having theory knowledge while those who learn with practical skills…” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the structure is not controlled enough to make the relationship clear. There are recurring problems with sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, and verb forms: “one of the main reason” needs a plural noun, and “children learn from books is having” does not form a correct clause. The opening also begins a new sentence with lowercase “one,” while the final sentence is incomplete. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then combine them with “while” or “because” and check punctuation.
