Student answer (Band 5.0)

Yes i agree on it . because it too much time to study and the ending is its really to find a job on this situation. Because there's a lot of people now whos graduating on their academic courses and the job slot is not enough for the people. So my opinion is much better to study about skills program school . it is focusing only the skills and techniques it is short period of time to study but if you finish the study and go for on the job training and after that you can apply your skills or you can apply a work base on you skills and you hired fast than the academic courses , and if you get a 5 years or more work experience you have a big chance to apply to the other country to gain more experience and high salary so in this strategy you can achieve you dreams or your goal in life faster than the academic courses and you can build you own business to you home country together with your family , you can hired your friends or neighbor to teach them or to share also your skills to make their dreams come true you can share your knowledge and experiences on how to build a good relationship to other when you are in the other country , and how to manage the time and how to manage your salary to save it fo the future , thats my opinion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You state a clear position at the start—“Yes i agree”—and give relevant reasons, especially the concern that graduates may outnumber available jobs and the value of skills training and work experience. The examples about applying skills, finding work, and later starting a business help show why you favour practical learning. However, the response only partly addresses the comparison in the prompt: it argues for skills programmes but does not explain what factual learning contributes or how schools and universities could balance the two. Several claims, such as skills training leading to faster employment or a better chance of working abroad, are asserted rather than supported. Develop fewer points with a specific example and acknowledge the role of academic knowledge to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a broadly understandable line: you agree, describe a shortage of jobs, and then explain possible benefits of practical training. However, nearly all the ideas are placed in one long sequence, with no paragraph breaks to show the stages of your argument. Many points are joined by repeated “and,” “so,” and “because,” which makes the progression feel like a list and obscures the relationship between claims. For example, the discussion moves from job prospects to working abroad, starting a business, hiring neighbours, and managing salary without clear transitions. Organise the essay into paragraphs, each with one main point, and use linking phrases selectively to show cause, contrast, and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “skills,” “techniques,” “work experience,” “salary,” and “business.” This gives the response a relevant foundation, but the range is limited and several phrases are imprecise or unnatural, such as “the job slot is not enough,” “study about skills program school,” and “apply a work base on you skills.” Repetition of “skills,” “study,” and “dreams” also limits flexibility. Choose more precise collocations, such as “there are not enough vacancies,” “enrol in a vocational programme,” and “apply for a job that uses these skills.” More accurate word forms and spelling would also make your meaning easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences and use some subordinate clauses, for example “if you get a 5 years or more work experience” and “when you are in the other country.” However, these extended structures are often difficult to control, and the response relies heavily on run-on sentences joined by “and” or “so.” There are frequent problems with sentence formation and basic grammar, as in “because it too much time to study,” “you can hired,” and “you can achieve you dreams.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, including the opening “Yes i agree on it .” Use shorter, complete sentences first, checking subject–verb forms, articles, pronouns, and punctuation; then add complex clauses where you can control them accurately.
