Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: usage of the centre, its importance, and the effects of closure. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited and repetitive. For instance, the explanation of why the centre is important relies heavily on the phrase 'healthy life' without further elaboration. The tone is inconsistent, shifting between a formal request and informal, conversational language. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the lack of depth in the arguments and the repetitive nature of the content prevent it from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should expand on the specific benefits of the centre and provide more detailed consequences of its closure.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is divided into paragraphs, which is a positive step, but the internal structure of these paragraphs is weak. There is a lack of logical progression, and the use of cohesive devices is minimal and often inaccurate, such as the awkward transition 'Why the way if any reason'. The referencing is also unclear at times, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of ideas. To improve, focus on using transition words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to link your sentences and ideas more effectively, and ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed point.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, relying on simple words like 'good', 'bad', and 'game'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and non-standard phrasing, such as 'that's the golden for us' and 'thank you mam for open this center'. The spelling is also inconsistent, with errors like 'nd' for 'and' and 'u' for 'you', which are inappropriate for a formal letter. To improve, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary related to community services and health, and ensure you use standard English spelling and formal register throughout your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with verb tense (e.g., 'we ware enjoy'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, making the text difficult to parse. The use of 'mam' as a form of address is informal and grammatically incorrect in this context. While there is an attempt to use different sentence structures, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar means that the control is limited. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for tense consistency would significantly improve your score.
