Dear sir/ Madam,
Purpose: Benifits of our local community center.
Our local community center is our go to spot now. It has a small gym in it. Me, my family as well as my friends we all meet their in every evening for our daily exercises.
Apart from it, Their is no doubt that sports and leisure centers are crucial for the local community because It makes individuals mentally fresh and relax when they interact with people outside and put theiselves into an activity.
If the center closes in future then It will effect the all age groups including youngsters, adults as well as seniors. Because human nature is that if they sit alone they develop stress, depression and many more diseases. So, In my opinon , Community centers should not be closed anywhere.
I look forward to hear from you regarding this statement.
your sincerely,
kiran.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The letter addresses all three bullet points: usage of the centre, its importance, and the effects of closure. However, the response is slightly under the 150-word minimum, which limits the depth of development. The ideas are presented but lack sufficient elaboration to fully satisfy the task requirements. For instance, the explanation of why the centre is important is quite brief. To improve, you should expand on your personal experiences and provide more specific examples of how the community benefits from the facility. Additionally, the inclusion of a 'Purpose' heading is not standard for a formal letter and should be avoided in future tasks.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter is organised into short paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and sometimes mechanical. For example, the transition 'Apart from it' is used incorrectly to start a new paragraph. The flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed, and the overall progression of ideas could be smoother. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to connect your thoughts more naturally. The paragraphing is present but could be more effectively used to separate distinct points.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but remains quite basic. There are several spelling errors, such as 'Benifits', 'their' (used instead of 'there'), and 'theiselves'. These errors, while not always impeding meaning, demonstrate a lack of control over common vocabulary. The range of words is limited, relying on simple descriptors like 'small' or 'fresh'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more precise and varied vocabulary related to community services and health, and pay closer attention to spelling and word choice accuracy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The letter contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentences, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'Me, my family as well as my friends we all meet', which is syntactically incorrect, and 'It will effect the all age groups', where 'effect' should be 'affect' and the article usage is incorrect. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and capitalisation. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Practising more complex sentence structures while ensuring they remain error-free will help improve your score.
