Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: describing how you use the centre, explaining its importance, and discussing the effects of closure. Your position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention that national teams practice there, this point could be expanded to explain how this benefits the wider community's pride or local economy. The letter follows the required format, and the tone is generally appropriate for a formal request to a council, although some phrasing is slightly informal or awkward.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, each focusing on a specific requirement of the prompt. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Apart from this', and 'Finally' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as in the phrase 'due to there every one come'. The transition between ideas could be smoother to improve the overall readability of the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'significant', 'utilize', and 'mental health'. However, there are several instances of incorrect word choice and non-standard collocations, such as 'kith and keen' (likely meaning 'kith and kin'), 'address that how', and 'solely center'. These errors occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent the message from being understood. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise vocabulary and ensuring collocations are natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('center play a vital role', 'individuals are not able'), incorrect verb forms ('I requesting', 'you are desiding'), and confusion between 'effect' and 'affect'. While these errors are noticeable and occur frequently, the meaning remains generally clear. Increasing your control over basic verb tenses and word forms will significantly improve your score in this criterion.
