Write a letter to the local council. In your letter

• give details of how you and your friends or family use the centre
• explain why the sports and leisure centre is important for the local community
• describe the possible effects on local people if the centre closes

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to you for sharing our experience of sports and leisure centre visit on last week and sharing few advantage and disadvantage of this centre in our opinion.

One of my colleague told me about this newly open sports and leisure centre in our town. Last weekend I visited the centre with my family and we had a great experience over there by using all amenities including swimming pool, basketball court and kids library.

This new start in our town gives local people a new hope to spend their peaceful life with some physical and mental activities on their leisure as well as valuable time. Now its very convenient for us to visit sports centre in our own town instead of commuting to big cities.

There are some rumours in locality that this centre will close in a few months which will be a bad news for each and everyone person living in town because this sports and leisure centre gave kids a great leisure activities experience with so much of learning. In addition, commuting to cities is not easy for everyone including grey hair people, kids and poor people.

We all are requesting to you please continue this service forever and we will be thankful to your council.
