Tondo Sports Complex are very important to uot society in different ways such it is used as a celebration area for birthdays, graduations and other occasions that needs to celebrate noy only by my family but also my closed friends and neighbors. Second, it is used as an evactuation center if ever there is a calamity that strikes our city. Last, it also serves as a playground for our young generation and exercise facility for our adults.

It has a stong negative effects to our community if ever the local government closes it. As we all know that the center is one of the most important facility in this area bacuase it caters a lot of uses such as celebration area, fitness facilties for the locals and it serve as our second home when the flood strike our town.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: describing how the centre is used, explaining its importance, and outlining the consequences of its closure. The ideas are relevant and clearly presented. However, the development of these points is somewhat repetitive; for instance, you mention the centre as a celebration area and an emergency shelter in both the second and third paragraphs. To improve, ensure that each paragraph introduces distinct information or expands on the previous point rather than restating it. Despite this, the purpose of the letter is clear, and the tone is appropriate for a formal request to a local council.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Second', 'Last', and 'As we all know' to link your ideas. However, the transitions between sentences can feel a bit mechanical, and the paragraphing is slightly unbalanced, with the second paragraph being quite dense. To reach a higher band, try to use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the use of 'it' in the third paragraph, which could be more precisely linked to the subject.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message, using terms like 'recreational center', 'calamity', and 'promptly'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'uot' (our), 'noy' (not), 'evactuation' (evacuation), 'stong' (strong), and 'bacuase' (because). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent the meaning from being understood. To improve, focus on proofreading your work for common spelling mistakes and try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations to describe the community impact, rather than relying on repetitive phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

Your writing shows a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you successfully use some complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('Tondo Sports Complex are', 'it serve as our second home') and prepositional errors ('inform you the importance' should be 'inform you of the importance'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the sentence structure in the third paragraph is slightly awkward. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that your complex sentences are constructed with precision. The errors are frequent enough to be noticeable but do not impede overall communication.
