Write a letter to the local council. In your letter

• give details of how you and your friends or family use the centre
• explain why the sports and leisure centre is important for the local community
• describe the possible effects on local people if the centre closes

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to request you if you could reconsider your decision for the closure of Sports and leisure centre.

All the children in the society including me visit to the sports centre on a regular basis in our leisure time. where some of them use sports equipments for the practice purposes, while others it is a source of stress buster. Furthermore, the parking area in the centre is common to use among the old generations, including my grandmother, who often visit there for evening walk with me.

This place is not only just limited to amenities it is providing, but also a great part of our memories now. Almost everyone spent their memorable moments there. So, this leisure centre is really close to our heart. If you will close it in future it will put a great effect on our lives, such as emotional disconnectivity among people as well as no competitive spirit among youngsters.

I hope you would definitely take the decision by taking into consideration of welfare of society.
