Dear sir/madam,
I am writing this letter to report to you regarding the centre. Actually, this centre is really crucial for us. Moreover, we are using this centre for some events, parties, and festivals etc. My family and friends, our all neighbours are also used it.
Furthermore, sport and leisure centre are important for individuals. Because they can effectively use the centre. Children can play games here. As well as, old-age people meet with their friend and spend time together. Adults can also enjoyed here, because due to work and jobs people have very hectic schedules and stressful life. If they have space to enjoy and do recreation activities then they might be happy.
Although, if centre will be closed. It will be effect individuals lives. They cannot enjoy and they do not spend their time as they can spend earlier.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The candidate addresses all three bullet points required in the task instructions. They provide details of how the centre is used by stating that their family and friends attend events, parties, and festivals, and that neighbours use it too. The importance of the sports and leisure centre is explained through its benefits for children, elderly people, and stressed adults. Furthermore, the possible effects of closure are mentioned, noting that individuals will lose a space to enjoy and spend their time. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, which places the response securely at Band 6.0. The ideas are relevant and fulfill the prompt requirements, but they lack the deeper extension and detailed support characteristic of higher band levels.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter demonstrates a basic logical organization with a clear beginning and ending. The writer attempts to sequence ideas using transition markers such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'Although'. However, paragraphing is underdeveloped and mechanical; for example, the second paragraph is overly long and crams multiple distinct ideas together, while sentences like 'Although, if centre will be closed. It will be effect individuals lives.' demonstrate faulty punctuation and fragmented referencing. Cohesive devices are sometimes used inaccurately or inappropriately, such as starting a sentence with 'Although' without a contrasting clause. Overall, the structural arrangement provides a coherent flow, but the mechanical and occasionally faulty cohesion points clearly to a Band 5.5 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey basic concepts related to community spaces and daily stress. However, the lexical range is narrow and repetitive, relying on basic terms such as 'crucial', 'events', 'parties', and 'happy'. There are notable word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'our all neighbours are also used it' and 'adults can also enjoyed here', alongside spelling errors like 'appericiate' and capitalization issues ('jaspreet'). The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'recreation activities' and 'hectic schedules', but the frequency of inaccuracies and limited flexibility restrict the score to a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures such as conditional clauses ('If they have space to enjoy... then they might be happy') and relative clauses. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, featuring frequent errors such as tense confusion ('our all neighbours are also used it'), incorrect verb forms ('adults can also enjoyed here'), and sentence fragments ('Although, if centre will be closed.'). Punctuation errors are also apparent throughout the text. While these errors do not completely impede communication, their high frequency and the presence of basic structural mistakes mean the performance aligns best with the Band 5.0 descriptors.
