Dear Sir or Madam,I am writing to express my concern about the plan to close our local sports and leisure centre. This place is very important to my family and the whole community.My family and friends use this centre almost every weekend. My friends and I play basketball in the indoor court, while my parents enjoy walking around the facility. It is our main place to relax, exercise, and spend time together after a busy week.This centre is essential for the local community because it keeps people active and healthy. It provides a safe space for children to play sports instead of staying indoors. Furthermore, it serves as a gathering spot where neighbors can meet and socialize, which makes our community stronger.If the centre closes, it will have negative effects on local people. Children will lose a safe place to play, and many individuals might become less active. Therefore, people will have fewer opportunities to stay healthy, and the area will lose its active spirit.I hope the council will change its decision and keep the centre open.Yours faithfully,
