Student answer (Band 6.5)
In this fast moving world, nobody has time for reading entire newspaper they just read headline and skip details due to this few numbers of people thing that news article on TV and newspapers are very often accompanied by picture. While, other people say picture play big role in news stories and newspaper and it is more effective rather than just read whole details. I partly agree with this statement because photos and details are both important for better understanding about any incident. We will discuss both the reasons in below.
First of all, In my point of view picture is as same important as news article because that both are well connected with each other. If reader just read whole news without any kinds of picture they start making fake images in their mind which is leads to the some unreal incident. For example, If people read news about the accident in park they do not feel bad about that. However, he watch all the pictures people who lost their life in this incident then they start feeling bad about this.
On the other hand, only picture is not good for newspapers or news stories on television because is misguide some times. Sometimes due to some reasons some people use old or fake pictures of any incidents and when we read about that news is come out totally different. For Example, most of the times news editor write news which is true incidents but they use old AI for make some picture or they use old and fake pictures which is not good for community.
In summary, both the things play big role in news world without the connection between them it is misguide everyone so picture and details both are important for better understanding of news.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the role of pictures in news. You clearly state your position that both text and images are necessary. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide a reason for the importance of images (emotional connection) and a reason for the potential danger of images (misinformation), the arguments could be more thoroughly extended with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The introduction is slightly confusing due to grammatical issues, which makes the initial statement of your position less clear than it could be. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed argument that directly supports your thesis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'On the other hand', and 'In summary' to transition between ideas. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and repetitive sentence structures. For instance, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph is abrupt. The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'both the things' in the conclusion, which lacks a precise antecedent. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate to convey your meaning, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on simple, repetitive language, such as 'big role', 'good', and 'bad'. There are also some instances of awkward word choices or collocations, such as 'unreal incident' instead of 'misconception' or 'inaccurate perception', and 'AI for make some picture'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary and collocations that are appropriate for a formal essay. Expanding your range of synonyms and learning how to use them in context will significantly enhance your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'picture is as same important'), missing articles (e.g., 'in below'), and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'which is leads to the some unreal incident'). While the meaning is generally clear, these errors are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, particularly subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Proofreading your work for these common errors before finishing will help you achieve a higher level of accuracy.
