new stories on tv and in newspapers are to much often accompanied by photos

some people say that these pictures are more attractive than words

sometimes that photos are really more effective because editing and quality of a pictures very creative and looking gorgeous they feel us like we can not listen words we just want to see photo because pictures looking like very heavy on every words the colors and editing of pictures very best and also quality the pixels of photos are not bad pictures was very clear and best for example sometimes I am watching dramas I feel that picture's or actions very effective then I will finish my all works and whenever I am free I watch that drama with a cup of tea or snacks

sometimes pictures was just boring and words was very attractive so we just want to listen words because that photos was very boring and unattractive and blur for example sometimes when I am watching movies that photo's was very boring then I put my laptop on shelf and start that movies which has boring photos then i am start my work like washing dishes , cooking and make any types of drinks and shakes and also listen words of that movies

but in my opinion producer's and editors should make both things photos and words attractive then people watch videos and also listen words if the photo was very clear and not blur then producers has high quality viewers and like otherwise people can not see that movie's and dramas

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the effectiveness of pictures versus words. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The arguments regarding 'editing' and 'quality' are somewhat superficial and do not fully explore the communicative power of visual media versus text in journalism. The position is clear, but the supporting examples, such as watching dramas or movies, are not entirely relevant to the context of news stories mentioned in the prompt. To improve, you should focus on providing more analytical reasons why visuals might be more impactful in news, such as their ability to convey emotion or provide immediate evidence.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction or conclusion, and the paragraphs are not clearly demarcated. The use of cohesive devices is very limited, relying heavily on simple connectors like 'sometimes' and 'because'. The progression of ideas is difficult to follow as the sentences are often run-on or fragmented. To improve, you should use clear paragraphing to separate your introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Additionally, incorporate a wider range of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in contrast' to help the reader navigate your arguments more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. Words like 'boring', 'attractive', 'effective', and 'pictures' are used frequently throughout the text. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'they feel us like we can not listen words' and 'pictures looking like very heavy on every words'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly. To improve, try to use more precise synonyms and academic collocations. For example, instead of 'very best', use 'high-quality' or 'visually compelling'. Expanding your vocabulary will help you convey your points with greater nuance and precision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The grammatical range is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with frequent errors. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'pictures was', 'producers has'), incorrect verb tenses, and punctuation. Many sentences lack proper structure, making them difficult to parse. For instance, 'whenever I am free I watch that drama with a cup of tea or snacks' is a run-on sentence that lacks proper punctuation. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and using correct punctuation. Practice writing complex sentences using subordinating conjunctions to improve your grammatical range.
