In this contemporary era, it is irrefutable that an individual has experienced tremendous growth in terms of social media. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the effectiveness of images versus words. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that images save time and aid understanding, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'wrong habits' in the third paragraph is not clearly linked to the prompt regarding news stories. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides a distinct, well-supported argument rather than restating the same point about time-saving. Your position is clear, but the supporting evidence could be more specific and analytical.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'On the other hand'. However, some of these transitions feel mechanical or are used incorrectly, such as 'due to this they can not read' or 'because of they ability'. The flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing, which makes the progression of ideas feel slightly disjointed. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the essay read more naturally and improve the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary era', 'irrefutable', and 'recapitulate'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'reasons for my inclination will also articulated' (should be 'be articulated') and 'few of people' (should be 'few people'). Some phrasing is repetitive, particularly the use of 'technological era' and 'day to day life'. To improve, focus on using collocations more accurately and expanding your range of topic-specific vocabulary related to media and communication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'each and every person have' (subject-verb agreement error), 'they can misunderstood' (incorrect verb form), and 'because of they ability' (incorrect pronoun usage). Punctuation is generally functional, but the sentence structure is often clunky. To achieve a higher band, you need to demonstrate better control over complex structures and ensure that basic grammatical rules, such as subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency, are applied correctly throughout the text.
