Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this high tech era individual find lots of information on their bot. In their leisure time in any place. Which will increase their time of getting more knowledge. Nowadays, News stories on television are more accurate and easily digestable than newspaper. In that point I give my positive point to digital media.
To begin with first and foremost one is, multimedia telecast news live which is spread a positive impact on both government and individuals. Also, we can grebe huge informative news such as, hike a price of grocery, what issues are going in cinema, in politics. For example, I recently saw a news of raid in food courts and reputetad hotels which is happen by one of the officer of food and drug association. And a name of the cope is Tukaram. He is a well known officer in this area and he cancel food licence of more than a 30 hotels in one day. Due to that, we are getting an awearness of hygine.
Another one reason is that, we can easily access that news multiple time and save it for later watching. Due to technology and digital media older people are saw a celebration of festivals in temples from the news. Which gives them more comfort. For example, form tv stories picture we saw a celebration of birth of lord Krishna in Gokul, Mathura and Vrindavan. Which is live and we are not going their in hustle place and we save our time and wages.
On the flip side, form a newspaper we read that news another day. Addition to this, we are getting only written information that is some time not correct. So, there are various pros and cons of every platform, but multimedia is fast and give as real experience on information.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the effectiveness of pictures in news, though the focus shifts significantly toward the general benefits of digital media versus newspapers rather than specifically analyzing the impact of visual imagery. The position is clear, but the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. The examples provided, such as the officer named Tukaram, are relevant but lack a direct connection to how the 'pictures' themselves are more effective than words. To improve, you should explicitly discuss how visual elements enhance understanding or emotional impact compared to text-only formats.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'To begin with first and foremost one is' or 'Another one reason is that'. These phrases are unnatural and sometimes grammatically incorrect. While there is a logical progression from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion, the transitions between sentences are often clunky, which hinders the flow of ideas. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often imprecise. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'grebe' instead of 'grab', 'reputetad' for 'reputed', 'cope' for 'cop', and 'awearness of hygine' for 'awareness of hygiene'. These errors occasionally make it difficult for the reader to grasp the intended meaning. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary related to media and news, the lack of control over basic collocations and spelling prevents a higher score. Expanding your vocabulary and focusing on accurate spelling will be essential for improvement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('individual find', 'older people are saw'), incorrect verb tenses, and fragmented sentences ('Which will increase their time...'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the misuse of full stops where commas or conjunctions should be used. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of grammatical errors throughout the text significantly impacts the overall quality and clarity of the writing.
