Newspapers and TV stories are becoming popular in recent time as more people influenced by the stories in their life. According to few people, these picture are more effective than words. In my opinion, words are much better to understand the story instead the pictures. I will discuss my opinion on it in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, news stories in words can be easily understood instead of pictures. To make it more clear, as we know when we read any story in words, we can get the knowledge about whole the story in more accurate way also understand easily. For instance, a survey was conducted in 2005, 80 percent people was able to get the understanding of the story by reading.
Therefore, reading the story in the words more effective rather than pictures.
Furthermore, if we read the story in the words, it will be very interesting. To clarify it, when we read the story in the words, we are taking the interest in it to know about more about the story. For example, during the COVID 19, I was full day free at home, I was reading many stories in my free time and I got it more interesting.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly, the arguments provided are repetitive and lack depth. For example, the claim that words are 'more interesting' is not well-supported, and the example regarding COVID-19 is vague and does not directly address why words are superior to visual media. To improve, you must expand your points with more detailed explanations and varied examples to fully explore the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat mechanical. You use basic cohesive devices like 'To begin with' and 'Furthermore', but the internal logic within paragraphs is weak. Some sentences, such as 'To scrutinizing, reading stories is more effective', are grammatically unclear, which disrupts the flow of the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help create a more cohesive response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use the phrase 'in the words' and 'stories', which restricts the range of your expression. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'taking the interest in it' and 'full day free at home'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider variety of synonyms and more precise academic vocabulary related to media and communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'as more people influenced by' (missing auxiliary verb), 'According to few people' (should be 'a few'), and '80 percent people was able' (subject-verb agreement error). While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles to improve your accuracy.
