Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people interested in watching stories rather than reading different fiction on book or newspaper. Mostly people prefer to picture and colour full stories.

Actually, Every person read different stories but maximum people interested in watching on TV. When I was a child. I have in class nursery then my teacher show colour full videos and photos with hearing story. I have full concentrate. So other people have also focus on colour full stories. There have beautiful, attractive picture then everybody have focus quickly and also understand easily. They have also very affective.

Further more, Somebody interested in reading story and also watch videos or photos. They get more ideas about narrative. They have get more knowledge about story. They interested in reading story with see photos. High educated people want both reading words with story. Some time it has boring and can't concentrate easily. Especially when read on newspaper. When news have post on internet and just mention with words then uneducated people can't understand because they can't read. For instance, when news or story have post with picture and theory. Everyone can understand easily and immediately.

Conclusion, In my opinion Colour full picture, videos, stories and news have post then everyone understand easily. However children also understand immediately. Because colour have very attractive and focusing.on other hand just reading is frustrating. Those school teach student with picture then students remember and learn a lot. Some kids watching nature videos and photo on TV rather then reading or theory. I think colour full picture videos and fiction is very helpful and fascinating.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear general preference for pictures, especially when you say that colourful images help people understand and that children can learn from visual material. The childhood classroom example is relevant, and you briefly acknowledge that some people prefer reading. However, the response only partly answers whether pictures are more effective than words: it often shifts to stories, fiction, videos, and education rather than comparing pictures with written news. The position is also not consistently precise, and several claims—such as that “uneducated people can’t understand” news written online—need careful explanation and support. To strengthen the response, state your view directly and develop two focused reasons with specific examples, while addressing when words may communicate news more effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response moves from a general preference, to a childhood example, then to reading and online news, and finally to a conclusion. Paragraph breaks help signal these stages. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because related points are repeated and the discussion moves between news, fiction, children’s learning, and education without clear links. Connectors such as “Further more,” “However,” and “on other hand” are sometimes used inaccurately or do not show the relationship between ideas. References such as “They” and “it” are also unclear in places. Group the comparison of pictures and words into distinct paragraphs, use topic sentences, and make each example support one main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “attractive,” “concentrate,” “narrative,” and “understand,” so the reader can identify your main topic. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “colour full,” “story,” and “understand easily.” Some word choices or combinations make meaning unclear, such as “picture and colour full stories,” “with hearing story,” and “picture and theory.” Spelling and word-form problems, including “affective” where you mean “effective,” also reduce precision. Build a more accurate set of terms for comparing visual and written news, and check common collocations. For example, use “accompanied by images,” “convey information,” and “capture readers’ attention” in suitable contexts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “When news have post on internet and just mention with words then uneducated people can't understand.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range remains limited and many sentences contain errors that make the relationships harder to follow. Problems include missing or incorrect articles and verb forms (“my teacher show,” “They have get”), subject–verb agreement (“news have”), and incomplete sentence structures (“When I was a child. I have in class nursery”). Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “Conclusion” and “focusing.on.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check tense, agreement, and sentence boundaries.
