Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays people gets more attracted by the animated movies and photos displayed in the news article rather than just the story writing so all the media has started to sell their stories by creating it in an ai movie. in this essay we will dicuss about this trend.
To start with, in this busy world nobody has time
to read whole news so media found a way of selling their news to peoe by creating videos of that news so that people can also enjoy while watching it. Moreover, picutures elabrote the news more properly and evrybody can understand that news. In a recent survery it was stated that due to creating visuals even young generation are getting more attractex towards the headlines of what is happening in the world which helps them to enhance their general knowledge.
Moreover, every one gets aware of the current happenings of the world. By putting visuals effects everyone gets to know how exactly it happened and audience can also learn how to get out of the bad situation if they get stuck someday. For instance, One day i was watching the video that how somebody was giving cpr to patient on the road who met with an accident and few days later this same situation happens with me i saw a crash and one the victim needed immidiate assistance so i remeber the video that news channel showed me and i was able to help that peroson.
In conclusion, i would like to say that creating animations on the news is one of the best thing to do because on the wider scale it encourages the youngsters to see the current happeings of the world as well as also they can learn to tackle difficult situations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear opinion that pictures and videos can make news more engaging and useful, and you support it with relevant reasons. The example of remembering a CPR video and helping an accident victim is particularly effective because it shows a practical benefit. You also address both engagement and understanding, so the response covers the main question. However, the discussion sometimes shifts from pictures being more effective than words to the broader trend of AI-made news videos. The claim that visuals help people understand news is relevant but would benefit from a specific explanation of what a picture communicates better than written reporting. Develop that comparison and qualify broad claims such as “nobody has time to read” to make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. The CPR example follows naturally from the point about learning from visuals, and linking phrases such as “Moreover” and “For instance” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is not always smooth: both body paragraphs begin with similar general claims about visuals, and the repeated use of “Moreover” makes the linking somewhat mechanical. The opening also announces that the essay will discuss a trend, rather than clearly previewing your position on whether pictures are more effective than words. Use topic sentences that distinguish your main reasons, and connect each example explicitly to the comparison in the question. This would make the overall line of argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “visual effects,” “headlines,” “general knowledge,” and “immediate assistance,” and the CPR example allows you to describe a concrete situation. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. For example, “sell their stories” does not express the intended idea as naturally as “present or attract audiences to their stories,” while “creating it in an ai movie” is unclear. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “dicuss,” “survery,” and “happeings.” Aim for more precise vocabulary about news communication, and proofread spelling and word forms so that your ideas are expressed clearly and naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if they get stuck someday” and a relative clause in “who met with an accident.” The main points are generally understandable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “people gets more attracted” should use a plural verb, and “this same situation happens with me” needs a consistent past-tense form in the anecdote. The opening sentence is also very long and joins several ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses; check subject–verb agreement, tense consistency, and sentence boundaries during revision.
