Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the growing world , where technologies had all of it also have a significant role in the world of media . Images which are shown in newspapers and programs on Tv are more effective than what is mentioned in them . I completely agree with this statement that photos are more attracted than words.
To start with , when a newspaper or series has a eye-catching apperance its more attractive than words .for instance , a make up brand selling product online showcase their shade of lipstick with a beautiful model who has that lipstick on .So, when they only mention the shade of lipstick ,an individual will not get attracted with one word ,which is colour of the shade but actually gets attrated with the shade shown in the image. To add with it , people nowadays have their favorite actress who they adore .To explain this , an individual will prefer the prodcuts the actress is getting paid for.Foe example , My favorite heroine is brand ambrassdor of hotel marriot ,when i look at her image in the hotel it attracts me to have an amazing experience there.
To contiune with this , webseries on the social media adversite there posters to attract people with theie mindblowing work. For example, if am interested in crime series ,where director ad producer made as poster of a killer and a victim which got my attention to watch and know the story rather than words which was included in the poster.
To conclude with this , I believe pictures are more effective than words in this world where you know will get more attracted to posters.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that pictures are more effective than words, and the conclusion restates this view. You give relevant examples involving lipstick advertising, a hotel promotion and a crime-series poster, which show how images can attract attention and influence choices. However, the discussion focuses mainly on advertising and entertainment rather than news stories in television and newspapers, so the connection to the precise task is not always explicit. The examples are also more fully described than the reasons behind your opinion; for instance, explain why a news image communicates information or emotion more effectively than a written report. Develop that comparison and acknowledge when words may be more informative to address the question more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from advertising images to posters for online series, and examples help illustrate the points. You also use linking expressions such as “To start with,” “To add with it” and “To conclude.” However, some transitions feel mechanical or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas, and the second body paragraph is brief compared with the first. References such as “this” and “it” are sometimes unclear, while the long lipstick example contains several ideas without clear sentence boundaries. Use topic sentences that directly connect each paragraph to the question, and organise each example around one clearly explained point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “eye-catching,” “attract,” “experience” and “mindblowing,” and you use examples from advertising and entertainment to express your view. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “more attracted” for “more attractive,” “adversite” for “advertise,” “brand ambrassdor” for “brand ambassador,” and “prod cuts”/“prod ucts” (intended as “products”). Some phrases, such as “attract people with their mindblowing work,” are vague. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, such as “capture viewers’ attention” and “convey a message,” so your meaning is more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “when they only mention the shade” and a relative clause in “a killer and a victim which got my attention.” However, sentence control is inconsistent, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms and punctuation sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “a eye-catching apperance its more attractive” needs a clear subject and verb structure, while “when I look at her image in the hotel it attracts me” needs clearer clause punctuation and reference. Several sentences run together, particularly in the first body paragraph. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses and check articles, verb agreement and full stops.
