Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the course, explaining the company's role, and detailing the benefits. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention the course is for 'MS Office', you could have provided more specific details about the modules or the duration to make the request more persuasive. The explanation of how the company can help is clear, but the justification for the course's utility is a bit repetitive, focusing primarily on 'productivity' without specific examples of how it would improve your current daily tasks. Expanding on these points would lead to a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter follows a logical structure with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. Each paragraph focuses on a specific aspect of the task. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive. For example, you start several sentences with 'This course'. Using a wider variety of linking words and transition phrases (e.g., 'Furthermore', 'Consequently', 'In addition to this') would improve the flow between sentences and paragraphs. The paragraphing is appropriate for a formal letter, but the overall progression of ideas could be smoother.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your request clearly. You use some relevant business-related terms like 'productivity', 'discount', and 'register'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'adverstisement', 'cousre', and 'benifits', which are distracting. Additionally, the range of vocabulary is somewhat limited; you rely on basic phrasing. To improve, try to incorporate more precise collocations and avoid repeating the same words in close proximity. Focusing on accurate spelling and expanding your repertoire of professional terminology will help you reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical inaccuracies. For example, 'This course offer 50% discount' should be 'This course offers a 50% discount', and 'I will be a great help' should be 'It would be a great help'. There are also issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall impression. Increasing your control over basic grammar and proofreading for small errors will improve your score.
