You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing good. I am writing to attend a training course for graphic designing. I have seen an advertisement in the newspaper about the course.

I really want to do the course as it will help me in gaining a new skill, which is going to be important for our company. As we are an international company, it is important for us to advertise about our products and for that we need someone who have the knowledge of graphic designing, so we can attract our customers.

The company can help me in attending the training course by paying on my behalf. It is a one month course, I have already discussed informally with one of my colleague to cover me for that time period.

It would be really helpful if you can help me in getting Human Resources Department approval.

I look forward hearing back from you.
