Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses all three bullet points: describing the course, explaining the company's role, and stating the benefits. However, the development of these ideas is quite thin. For example, the description of the course is vague, and the explanation of how the company can help is limited to a mention of 'special permissions'. Crucially, the response is significantly under the 150-word minimum requirement, which prevents a full development of the ideas. To improve, you should expand on the specific content of the training and provide more detailed reasons why it is beneficial for your professional growth and the company's success.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter follows a logical structure with a clear opening and closing. Paragraphing is present, though the body paragraphs are very short. The use of cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'as' helps link ideas, but the overall flow is somewhat mechanical due to the brevity of the sentences. To achieve a higher band, ensure that each paragraph contains a well-developed main idea supported by specific details, and use a wider variety of linking words to connect your thoughts more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the message to be understood clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'advertisement', 'employees', and 'permissions'. However, the range is limited and somewhat repetitive. Phrases like 'polish their skills' and 'give my best' are functional but basic. To improve, try to incorporate more precise, professional vocabulary related to business and training, such as 'professional development', 'strategic objectives', or 'enhance proficiency'. Avoid overly simple phrasing to demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are some grammatical errors, such as 'request you for online course training' (should be 'request approval for an online training course') and 'as it divided into sections' (missing 'is'). Punctuation is generally correct, but the sentence structure is somewhat repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on reducing minor errors and incorporating a wider variety of complex sentence forms, such as using relative clauses or conditional structures to explain the potential benefits of the course more effectively.
