You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Manager,

I am writing to ask for your permission to attend a training course that I believe would be very useful for my current job.

I recently saw an advertisement for two-week course on Effective Communication and Customer Service. The course covers topics such as communicating with customers, handling complaints, teamwork, and solving problems effectively. it will be held online in the evenings, so i can attend it without affecting my working hours.

I would appreciate it if the company could help me by paying the course fee. If possible, I would also like to receive some financial support for the study materials. I believe this would be a worthwhile investment for both me and the company.

This course would help me communicate more confidently with customers and colleagues. It would also improve my problem-solving and teamwork skills. As a result, I would be able to handle customer requests more efficiently and contribute more effectively to the company.
