Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the course, explaining how the company can help, and stating the benefits to your job. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager, although the opening paragraph is slightly off-topic by focusing on your lack of promotion rather than the purpose of the letter. To improve, ensure that every sentence directly supports the request for training. The ideas are relevant and clearly linked to your professional development, which satisfies the requirements for this task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'Therefore' to connect your ideas. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'I discuss this thing with team lead'. The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the progression of ideas is smoother. Paragraphing is present and appropriate for a formal letter.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to communicate your message effectively, including terms like 'interface', 'professional', and 'advertisement'. However, there are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'permotion' (promotion), 'word' instead of 'world', and 'visiters' (visitors). Additionally, some phrases are slightly unnatural, such as 'hold effective salary associated job'. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using collocations that are more standard in a business context. The current range is adequate but lacks the precision required for a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'I do not get any permotion yet' (should be 'have not received'), 'with this skills i will able to' (should be 'with these skills I will be able to'), and 'If I completed this course' (should be 'If I complete'). Subject-verb agreement and tense consistency need more attention. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the writing from reaching a higher band.
