You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Student answer (Band 6.0)
Dear Sir,
I am this letter to inform you a government sponsored wealth management course going to start next month. I am aware that it is a busy season for the organization, learning such skills will help me to perform better for the success of company.
I am requesting you to grant me a leave for one month to gain some valuable knowledge by enrolling in the course. I am aware that as per the company policies we have to inform at least one month prior for taking such breaks. However, if I pursue this type of training from any private career college that costs me around $10000. Luckily, this time course is totally funded by the authorities.
How this program is lucrative for company's growth? As it consists of some basic fundamentals of wealth management like trading skills at global level, communication skills and more. After leaning these skills, I can use them for my company's better future.
Thanks
Nikhil

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: describing the course, explaining how the company can help, and detailing the benefits. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of how the company can help is slightly confusing, as you mention a one-month leave request but then pivot to discussing the cost of private colleges. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, but the structure could be more professional. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses clearly on one of the bullet points to provide a more logical flow of information.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally awkward, such as the transition 'However, if I pursue this type of training...'. Additionally, the rhetorical question 'How this program is lucrative for company's growth?' is not ideal for a formal letter to a manager; it would be better to use a statement. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would help elevate your score in this criterion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, including terms like 'wealth management', 'organization', and 'funded'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For example, 'lucrative for company's growth' is not the most natural phrasing in this context, and 'leaning these skills' is a spelling error for 'learning'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure that your vocabulary is consistently appropriate for a professional business context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
Your writing contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are several grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. For instance, 'I am this letter to inform you' is missing the verb 'writing', and 'success of company' lacks the definite article 'the'. There are also issues with preposition usage and sentence construction, such as 'learning such skills will help me'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your intent, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of sentence mechanics.
