Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The letter addresses all three bullet points: describing the course, explaining the company's role, and stating the benefits. However, the development is quite limited. The description of the course is vague, and the explanation of how the company can help is brief. The tone is somewhat informal and lacks the professional register expected in a letter to a manager. To improve, you should expand on the specific skills the course offers and provide a more formal justification for why the company should support your professional development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical flow between sentences is often disjointed. There is a lack of cohesive devices (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') to link ideas smoothly. For example, the transition from describing the course to asking for an experience letter is abrupt. The use of referencing is also weak, making some parts of the text feel repetitive. Improving the use of linking words would significantly enhance the clarity and flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'job', 'work', and 'learn'. There are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'boast' instead of 'boost', 'knowlwgable' instead of 'knowledgeable', and 'sinercarly' instead of 'sincerely'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is not sufficient to express more complex ideas or professional nuances. You should focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to professional training and workplace communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('I am going to exam', 'I am doing job'), incorrect prepositions, and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary commas and lack of capitalisation in some areas. While these errors do not completely prevent communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. To reach a higher band, you need to practice using a wider variety of complex sentence structures and improve your control over basic grammar rules.
