Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt. You described the project management course, explained the need for remote work on Mondays, and linked the training to your professional development as a senior analyst. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat brief. For instance, while you mention the course will help you manage projects, providing a specific example of a current project challenge that this training would solve would have made your argument more persuasive and fully developed, moving the response toward a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter follows a logical structure with clear paragraphing. Each paragraph focuses on one of the required points, which helps the reader follow your argument easily. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Recently', 'So', and 'Additionally' to link ideas. However, the transition between the second and third paragraphs could be smoother. The phrase 'Let me draw your attention to explain you' is slightly awkward and wordy. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is more precise would help achieve a higher score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'valuable asset', 'current job profile', and 'acquire more knowledge'. There are some minor issues with collocation and word choice, such as 'express my core interest towards' (which should be 'in') and 'approve me to do work' (which should be 'approve my request to work'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over professional vocabulary. Expanding your range to include more sophisticated collocations related to business and professional development would be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical slips, such as 'The training course consist' (should be 'consists'), 'on every Monday' (should be 'every Monday'), and 'Additional, I can acquire' (should be 'Additionally'). These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of adverbs. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences will help you reach the next band level.
