You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do

• say how the course will be useful for your job

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing to request your permission to attend a training course on diet and fitness for corporate workers. I saw an advertisement for this course in a magazine. It is being conducted by the Indian Academy of Fitness Training in our city.

The course provides training in various stretching and strengthening exercises, as well as different yoga poses. In addition, it offers comprehensive knowledge about maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle.

I have wanted to attend this course for a long time. Therefore, I would like to request the company to cover the course fees and grant me five days of leave to participate in the training.

I believe that this course would also be beneficial to our company. Since most of our employees have desk-based jobs and sit for long hours, many of them experience problems such as back pain and digestive issues. After completing the course, I could conduct basic fitness sessions for our employees and share the knowledge I have gained. As a result, I would be able to contribute to their physical and mental well-being, which could also improve their productivity at work.
