IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my concern for a training course, which is about marketing. The tittle of the course is “Sales and Marketing “, and going to held on 1st June in our city centre.So, I will be free on this date because of my vacation leave, I want to join this course.

Moreover, the duration of the course is 20 days and it starts at morning time. As I mentioned earlier about my leave, that is why one week will be easily adjusted by me.furthermore, if you can provide me half day or paid leave for joining that course, it would be really appreciated.

Also, my position is sales man in this company, therefore this course will assist me to learn distinct skills such as critical thinking, dealing different customers, and how to sell a product. Additionally, I can also adapt the ways in which they will handle this course. Thank you for considering my request. Looking forward to hear from you.
