Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The letter addresses all three bullet points: describing the course, explaining how the company can help, and stating the benefits. However, the development is somewhat limited. The description of the course is vague, as it only mentions 'health and wellness' without specific details. Furthermore, the request for company assistance is not clearly articulated; you mention wanting to know if there is a 'chance' for the course, but you do not explicitly ask for funding, time off, or other specific support. To improve, ensure each point is fully extended with concrete details to demonstrate a clear purpose to the manager.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized with a clear opening and closing. You use some basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'However', and 'On the other hand' to link ideas. However, the paragraphing is insufficient; the entire body of the letter is presented as a single block, which makes it difficult to follow the transition between different points. Using separate paragraphs for each bullet point would significantly improve the structure and readability of your writing. Additionally, some transitions feel slightly mechanical.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your message clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'advertisement', 'concentration', and 'opportunity'. However, there are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'over seating time' instead of 'prolonged sitting' and 'greater opportunities experience' which is grammatically unclear. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on simple descriptors. Expanding your range to include more precise collocations related to professional development would help elevate your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede flow. Examples include 'Me Kuljeet Singh' (should be 'I am Kuljeet Singh'), 'one of your company's employee' (should be 'employees'), and 'from last 5 years' (should be 'for the last 5 years'). You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors, such as 'I just want to know that if there are any chance'. Improving your control over basic subject-verb agreement and preposition usage is essential for higher accuracy.
